An energizing and oh so tasty cocktail created by our friend
Alex Hirdman at Lådan

KAFFEREP

5cl cold brew coffee
3cl Preferably Lådan Batch 3 Dry Gin (Otherwise S|B Dry Gin)
3cl Demerara syrup*
2cl fig-infused sweet red vermouth**
2cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
5 drops chocolate bitters

Pour all ingredients into a shaker. Add ice and shake. Double strain into a highball glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a fresh fig.

*2:1 Demerara syrup
Two parts Demerara sugar to one part water by weight. Heat gently in a pot until sugar dissolves. Stir regularly. Let cool.

**Fig-infused sweet vermouth
Equal parts sweet vermouth to figs by weight. Rinse and clean figs carefully. Cut into quarters and put in vermouth for seven days. Agitate the bottle once a day. Strain with a strainer and fine-mesh cheesecloth, then bottle.
